Mobile as well as more and more stationary applications need energy. Swaytronic's vision of "Battery follows Application" is exactly what we do and we offer custom-made special configurations in almost all industrial and commercial areas and applications.
Of course, Swaytronic offers comprehensive data security, which is why we cannot publish any projects and batteries that we are allowed to implement with our customers.
In the following we describe our process and give some insights into parts of our projects.
A project at Swaytronic goes through the following phases:
Swaytronic has already been able to implement many such projects. As a Swiss company with its own production facilities, high quality standards and many years of experience in battery technology, we can offer our partners project-based support from the idea to the implementation.
The diagram shows an overview of our processes, the beginning and end are not fixed - as we adapt flexibly to the respective status of our customer projects.
Our process steps are also repetitive for us, as we are continuously developing our cells and can always provide our customers with new updates and better performance data.

Nach der erfolgreichen Konzeption und der positiven Machbarkeitsanalyse produzieren wir je nach Art des Projekts die Ersten hand-Made Zellen und testen diese gem. Operations-Profil des Akkumulators / Applikation.

Sie wollen keine bösen Überraschungen? – Wir auch nicht! Um unseren hohen Qualitätsanforderungen gerecht zu werden, wird die Zelle sowie die fertige Konfiguration intern getestet und die vereinbarten Zielparameter überprüft und sichergestellt.
Nutzen Sie unseren Zertifizierungs-Service, um Eigenschaften und Leistungsmerkmale Ihres Produkts durch anerkannte Label gegenüber Ihren Kunden auch effektiv belegen zu können bzw. ggf. den regulatorischen Erfordernissen gerecht zu werden.
Wir liefern weltweit – es gilt jedoch in jedem Fall schon bei Projektbeginn die Zeildestination zu definieren um eine «IN-Time» Lieferung mit IATA – Machbarkeit sicher zustellen.
Pre-assembling
In some projects we get involved right up to the pre-assembling of the cell block and manufacture the packs to external and further assembly specifications. In this example, we manufacture a 3S cell pack with specially extended tabs to ensure connectivity up to the BMS positioned on the cell surface
The serial cell connections are isolated from the outside to avoid short circuits. Furthermore, we lead the individual cell voltages in parallel to the tabs by means of stranded wires in order to make them available to the BMS as well.
The finished "custom made" battery
Depending on the customer's wishes and the scope of the project, we manufacture a soft or hard case battery pack either at our premises or, as in this case, with one of our partners in Germany.
In most cases, the application dictates which type of construction offers the best result and the best cost/benefit factor. While the soft pack can be produced more flexibly and at a lower cost, we need tools and die-cast parts for the hard case in order to produce a fixed and robust housing.
Status display
The status display of a battery shows the SoC (State of Charge) or the charge level of the battery. In this case, the LED display can be individually adapted and integrated via a button.
It is also possible to query data via Bluetooth 4, which can be visualised with an app or specific platform.
BMS - control and monitor
The BMS has the task of ensuring the optimum performance and maximum service life of the battery. To do this, it permanently monitors the battery condition based on the battery voltage, the battery current and the battery temperature.
Depending on the project and requirements, we work with standard components through to "customised BMS" boards, which are tailored to the application, its function and the battery.
Custom-Made Lithium Batteries with or without case - Swaytornic also offers various certifications, including Apple MFi certification.
The Apple Watch
The Apple Watch Powerbank by Swaytornic was developed on customer request / project basis and is certified by Apple MFi. From the case, to the cell, to the wireless module, everything is "custom-made" and adapted accordingly.
The built-in, rechargeable Swaytronic cells provide up to 2.5 charges for your Apple Watch before the Power Bank has to be recharged via micro-USB cable.
Thanks to its compact and handy size, the Swaytronic Apple Watch Power Bank fits into any trouser pocket, backpack or briefcase.
Thanks to the fixed key ring, it also complements any Apple Watch owner's key ring.
