Flat-pack battery describes the design of the battery pack.
Flat-packs are flat battery packs with a very low height and a comparatively high capacity.
To achieve this low height, two cell packs with lower capacity are connected in parallel. For example, an 11.1V 3000mAh becomes an 11.1V 6000mAh.The aim of this design is a flat but rather wide design.
This makes them ideal for low altitude conditions.
